Here is the news
Dear Students,
Nowadays it is possible to keep up to date with the news without leaving your home.
Thanks to the Internet you can connect to the BBC or the CNN or many other TV channels and see what´s going on.
So why don´t you give it a go?.
First, you should do some grammar exercises on the use of the passive voice, which is the most common structure used in the news. Of if you prefer go to this site and do the quiz.
Then, you should do the following vocabulary quiz about headline words.
Now, go to BBC News and click on 'The one minute world news' for a summary of the most important news items of the day.
Fill in the questionnaire with following information:
What's happened?
Where´s happened?
Who´s involved?
Then, compare in pairs.
Regards,
Eva
